While listening this ep,I found "a saucerful of secrets"'and went into "interstellar overdrive",then "took up my stethoscope and walked"to the "astronomy domine".there "Lucifer Sam" was riding his " bike" with "the scarecrow".

Violet Swells draw influence from the jazz musings of Brian Wilson, while producing an electrifying atmosphere, akin to the wild space rock sounds of Pink Floyd. The haunting sound of a mellotron is infused with raucous fuzz guitars, and bubblegum melodies that create symphonic soundtracks within three minute pop songs.
"the superb Jupiter’s Garden sounding like a tougher version of Jacco Gardner (but with a telstar Jo Meek-esque ending)" - PopjunkieLondon

Shoegaze and soft psychedelia hold hands on this mellow Canadian release which features some subtly great lead guitar. Bandcamp New & Notable May 19, 2017
An album of elemental power. Full of sitars, theremins, wind instruments and wafting vocals, the band manages to sound powerfully spacious. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 18, 2017

Violet Woods hit the ground running with this elegant album of deliciously folky psych-pop tunes. There's a cohesive harmony on display here – a unified sound that constantly tantalises with new elements, although never straying too far in style or form. Michael Reilly
