Musically, the album evokes a pagan, rural, bygone England, and is similar in style to The Hare and the Moon, while lyrically rooted in Christian themes - a hauntological antinomy of breathtaking beauty, one that can be traced right back to the Christianisation of our Anglo-Saxon kingdoms, an admixture evident within the poem Beowulf.

When listening to the music one easily feels like in a (day-) dream. Hard to believe: it's not a concept album, but a mixture of "greatest hits". Fantastic! rainer eric
